On the Saturday evening of the BOC, after the last box was packed and the taxis were hailed, Victoria, Rebecca, Liliana, Karen, Ella, Ilona, Lou and Emma left Glasgow’s Scottish Event Campus feeling weary but exhilarated and satisfied after three packed days of presentations, networking, meeting and greeting.
Standing out from the crowd
The signature DB blue exhibition stand looked stunning, and the addition of pearly balloons and cloth bags emblazoned with the Autograph silver logo helped to give a real buzz to the occasion.
It was great to see all of our customers join in on the selfie fun with our new #MyAutographSmile sunglasses; even speaker Lord Robert Winston, who lectured on “What Makes us Happy”, sported not one, but two pairs of glasses for a quick pic.
On Thursday and Friday, Managing Director David Burdess joined the team for a day of selling, and granddaughter Ella grabbed him to join in on a boomerang Instagram post to promote our OPRO ranges.
Happy 25th Birthday to the ONG
Debra Worthington and Sally Dyer from the Orthodontic National Group were delighted with the bottle of champagne we gave them to celebrate 25 years. Formed in 1994, and affiliated with the BOS, The Orthodontic National Group provides a platform for education and information to drive the work of orthodontic nurses and therapists throughout the UK.

Our BOC Special offers were snapped up by many and we also didn’t disappoint those looking for something new. Showcasing our new ranges including Queens Award winning OPRO Snap Fit mouthguards, Autograph Whitening, MSi, Evolve brackets, and Ixion instruments, fresh ideas to rouse your curiosity were aplenty.

Never ones to say no to a good meal, refreshing and recuperating at the end of each day in one of Glasgow’s restaurants was compulsory. When you’ve been working hard at the stand, nothing beats a big plate of tagliatelle and a chilled pinot to calm the mind!
Bill’s and La Fiorentina were fabulous.
A week later, everyone is back in their normal habitat; be it office, lab, or on the road. And, with the help of our hard working customer service team, we quickly processed all orders and followed up on leads. Many customers actually called to say how impressed they were at receiving their orders and samples within two days of the show.
