Meet Shane, our new Sales Executive

Hello my name is Shane Thewlis, I am the new Sales Executive for DB Orthodontics covering Scotland and Ireland. I am really excited about meeting and helping the fantastic clinicians at all of the practices and hospitals in these areas.

I would like to tell you a little bit about myself, I am born and raised in Bradford, Yorkshire. I love sport and exercise, including running, training in the gym, football, weight-lifting, walks on the moors and especially boxing. I previously boxed competitively and I have qualifications in sports coaching and boxing. This allows me to spend my spare time volunteering at the local community amateur boxing club, helping the young people with their training programmes, nutrition and boxing skills.

I also have a lovely wife called Kathryn and we have been married for 3 years. She is amazing - my best friend and my biggest support - and she even puts up with all the Manchester United games I watch! 

Finally, I have a Cavalier King Charles spaniel dog called Rio who is a little mischievous and likes to play hide and seek with anything that I am trying to use, but an absolutely super pet.
