"A patient with severe sleep apnoea who is currently using the MSi appliance is experiencing remarkable improvements. Her apnea-hypopnea index went down from 37 apnoeas per hour (which is severe) to 9 apnoeas per hour (which is mild). The MSi is worn during the night/sleep and the patient was evaluated by a respiratory consultant in accordance with my protocol. So far, wear of the MSi has resulted in significant improvement for this patient. Her sleep has improved, and she is reaping the benefits in her health overall with improvements in blood pressure. More importantly, there has been an impressive downgrade in diagnosis from severe sleep apnoea to mild sleep apnoea, with just 3 months of wear."
