Team DB Pledges to Plant Trees with One Tree Planted
We are excited to be supporting One Tree Planted in our focus to support a sustainable future.
One Tree Planted is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to global reforestation. They plant trees to restore nature and biodiversity. They also raise awareness about the importance of trees, offer businesses like ours a simple sustainability solution, and motivate younger generations to do something positive for the environment.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, here are our plans for 2023:
1. We pledge to plant a tree with One Tree Planted for every Colour Boutique Mini Ligature pack sold.
One Tree Planted is on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Their projects span the globe and are done in partnership with local communities and knowledgeable experts to create an impact for nature, people, and wildlife.
Reforestation helps to restore forests that have been degraded over forested, provide jobs for social impact, and restore biodiversity habitat. Many projects have overlapping objectives, creating a combination of benefits that contribute to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
What else are we doing?
In 2023, we will also...
2. Recycle 11,440kg of cardboard and paper.
3. Recycle 2380kg of LDPE soft plastics
4. Recycle 3900kg of all other waste
5. Replace all packaging material with fsa paper/board & environmentally friendly inks.

This year we have committed to install over 500 solar panels which will reduce CO2 emissions by 32,800kg pe annum.
