5. DB Orthodontics Archwires.
I use DB archwires for all stages of treatment from DB Ortho. From Niti Round to Stainless Steel, plus Micro-Coated wires. Micro-Coated wires are ideal for aesthetic treatment, and because they are only coated on the buccal aspect, I find that the sliding mechanics work very well, meaning I can provide a more aesthetic look for my patients without any delays to treatment duration. I also find that they are less likely to break than the other white-coated brands I have used in the past and their coating is more likely to remain intact for a longer period of time.
I regard the 6% whitening pen as an ideal product for patients who are undergoing aligner or lingual fixed appliance treatment. Patients find it very convenient to use and still has the strongest percentage available on the market: 6% Hydrogen peroxide.
We recommend the pens to all patients who finish their treatment, and we have received excellent feedback because they can just carry them in their bag and they don’t need to put them in the fridge. I have used this myself for my tooth whitening together with my orthodontic retainer and I particularly liked it as the result was subtle.

2. IPR Swiss Denta Care Prolign Kit
To carry out IPR, I use the Swiss Denta Care Prolign Kit. I use it first and foremost because it is calibrated. The kit is so easy to use - I do not have to keep stopping to measure constantly the space opening and calculate by eyesight which grit size file to use, or for how long. With non-calibrated files, space opened can be less accurate and you are at risk of removing too much enamel. With the prolign kit, that risk is very much reduced.
